Bloody Barnwell
"Bloody Barnwell" by Kell Anderson is back for an encore performance!
In January of this year Bloody Barnwell had two shows that both sold out quickly so for those of you that did not get to see the show in January, here's your chance.
The encore performance will have four of the same stories, each story being paired with a non-alcoholic mocktail plus a bonus story this time. The five true crime tales are from the depths of Barnwell's darker past. An intimate candle lit stage, multi-sensory live performance featuring period costume, projected visuals and immersive narration.
Don't miss out on this encore performance. We promise you will have a bloody good time!
An Enchanted Bookshop Christmas
Four days before Christmas, the shelves of a bookshop called "A Likely Story" hold more than just books - they hold a little magic.
When beloved literary characters come alive after closing time, the Nutcracker Prince, Amy March, the Velveteen Rabbit, the Little Match Girl, Ebenezer Scrooge and friends discover that even the most practical grown-up may need a miracle. The characters come to life to solve a mystery and save the day when a crucial gift goes missing. They must accomplish this without revealing their magical, living existence to the human visitors. What could go wrong?
Todd Wallinger's merry prequel mixes laughter, heart and classic-story wonder into a celebration of hope, family and the transforming power of a good book. It's a comedic and heartwarming tale that reminds us that the best gifts don't always come wrapped in pretty paper & bows.
Last Round-up of The Guacamole Queens
We're back! The Verdeens are back again in this hilarious play written by Jones Hope Wooten called Last Round-up Of The Guacamole Queens.
It's the third and final comedy in the Verdeen Cousins Texas Trilogy that began with The Red Velvet Cake War and continued with Rex's Exes - both seen on our stage the last two seasons. If you missed one or both of the previous plays..no worries, this is not a part 3 it's a trilogy which means the story has nothing to do with the first two and is a stand-alone play in its own right.
The Verdeen cousins are up against the clock as they frantically attempt to produce the ultimate high school reunion before the old building is demolished. While facing some heartbreaking, yet hysterical personal problems, the cousins must throw the perfect reunion to impress the governor's aid and snag the high profile job of planning the governor's birthday party in order to save their family business "Wide Bride". They've got a bushel of obstacles to overcome before they can pull off this miracle! While the cousins need a perfect evening to occur, various other family members unexpectedly show up, bringing all forms of chaos with them.
A rapid fire southern comedy, big personalities, old grudges, new disasters, family loyalty and enough guacamole to feed the whole county!
Steel Magnolias
In loving memory of Dolly Parton 1946-2026
The big screen movie Steel Magnolias debuted in 1989 and was a box office hit. The movie had a large cast of great actors. The main ones included Sally Fields, Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis, Daryl Hanna and Dolly Parton. Circle Theatre performed the play almost 17 years ago in our 2010-11 season. We are proud to be bringing it back to our stage once again. We thought it would only be fitting to add this wonderful play to our line-up this year in memory of and to honor Dolly.
The stage play takes place inside a beauty salon called Truvy's Beauty Spot in the fictional parish of Chinquapin, Louisiana where the interactions and emotional evolution of the women take place. It's their "safe place" where gossip, grit and grace go hand and hand. As life throws its toughest curveballs, these women lean on one another with humor, honesty, and fierce devotion. Hilarious and deeply moving, this beloved play is a joyful tribute to resilience, friendships and the extraordinary bonds between women.
The title Steel Magnolias refers to the characters being delicate as magnolias yet tough as steel.

The Lion King kids tells the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters including spunky lioness Nala, charismatic meerkat Timon, lovable warthog Pumbaa and many more. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. Themes of identity, courage, and the enduring bond between parent and child weave together in this awe-inspiring and soul-stirring musical production featuring songs by Elton John and Tim Rice such as "Hakuna Matata", "Can you feel the love tonight" and of course "Circle of Life" just to name a few.
